Gday everyone!… I’m writing to you from Sydney where it’s about 42 degrees… I live a little more inland around Castle Hill where it is way hotter because we aren’t really near the water, I think its over 100 here in American lingo… its actually very sad because a lot of bushfires have broken out, so far quite a few deaths have happened in Australia because of the bushfires, it sucks.. So let’s pray for the rain eh??

It’s been great being back in Sydney; I’ve been watching the cricket which is very frustrating because we are not so good anymore! I’ve been hanging out with lots of old friends who I don’t see much these days since I have been stateside so much. I have been going to lots of shows: I saw Glen Hansard (the guy from the movie “Once”) at the opera house which was fantastic; he is from a band called “The Frames” who was his backing band. I saw them play about 6 years ago. Its sweet that he won an Oscar! I also saw Ryan Adams at the Enmore Theater last week, it was such a great show, his voice was incredible, he played all my favorite songs. A few days later I went back to the Enmore to see Jeff Beck, who is a guitar legend, also a great show… I’m seeing “The Stray Cats” at the Enmore in about 2 weeks.. I cant wait.. man… I should just live at the Enmore!.. Although I wish they had better air conditioning! Ha!

I haven’t seen the rest of the guys in quite a few weeks now, its a weird feeling.. I’ll be heading back to the states pretty soon to start out our 2009 Academy is… year! Exciting times!

Anyways, the cricket is about to start… it’s against New Zealand… can you believe we have already lost 2 games against them?? C’mon Aussies! Get it together!
